This is a great statement piece from one of the Greats of iconic vintage costume jewelry: Napier. Our Vintage Napier Black Enamel Pearl Statement Necklace is a beautiful strand of pearls with a black enamel pendant and jumbo suspended pearl. A total 1980s power dressing moment!
Napier was founded in 1878 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, under the name E.A. Bliss Co., which manufactured watch chains. In 1922, the company changed its name to The Napier Co. Pieces produced pre-1999 are highly collectible for their unique aesthetic and great sense of quality.
SIZE: One size.
MATERIALS: Gold tone metal, faux pearl.
ERA: Estimated 1980s - 1990s.
MEASUREMENTS: Roughly 24 inches long.
CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some wear and tear commensurate with age. Light scratching.
