Very pretty Vintage Golden Midcentury Beaded Frame Bag. Star inspired beadwork lends itself to a very old Hollywood feel, with that authentic craft of the midcentury era. Champagne, in bag form. Thousands of gold glass beads, sewn entirely by hand onto satin in swooping fans and peaks, with little bugle-bead flourishes that flash a beat behind the seed beads so the whole surface twinkles out of sync with itself. Brushed gold frame, twist kiss-lock, doubled chain. Super cute for summer, date nights, formal events or just for amping up any outfit.
These beauties were often beaded by hand in Hong Kong's midcentury workshops and carried by every well-stocked department store of the era. The gold-on-gold ones are the most useful sparkle there is: warmer than rhinestones, dressier than brass, flattering to every outfit ever made. Please see worn photos for sizing.

CONDITION: In good condition, commensurate with age. Very tiny area of missing beads on one side (reflected in price).
