Petite, clacky, and quietly indestructible, this is the chic little black dress of bead bags. From Jana, the Japanese label whose wooden bead purses have been charming people since the '60s: rows of glossy dark espresso-hued beads netted in black cord, staggered like brickwork, gathered into a plump little pouch that makes the most satisfying gentle clack when you set it down. Fits the essentials of a well-edited evening. Very atomic, retro futuristic.
