Iris Apfel's Vintage Monumental HUGE Sterling Silver Jarin Trembler Brooch

From Iris Apfel's personal collection: An extremely special, Vintage Monumental Jarin Kasi Trembler Brooch. This is no ordinary brooch: it's extremely large, constructed of solid sterling silver with gold plated and crystal details: the flowers tremble and shake as the wearer moves. Presented with its tag found as is, showcasing a price of $2,250.

The piece is designed en tremblant, inspired by 18th and 19th century diamond set jewelry which was attached to a trembler to create surreal movement when worn. 

Jarin Kasi began designing jewelry in the 1970s and is a favorite of celebs. The label creates pieces that mimic extremely intricate, historical fine jewelry using high-quality demi-fine materials like sterling silver. The brand's large scale, trembler brooches are becoming increasingly rare and harder to find.

Due to their authentic provenance and the delicate secondhand nature, items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable. Each piece will arrive with a provenance card.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light visible scratching throughout. Some trembler springs slightly stiff/not as fluid due to age.
