From Iris Apfel's personal collection: The largest, most glittering example of an alligator/crocodile bracelet we've ever seen. Iris Apfel's Vintage Documented Monumental Alligator Bracelet has a comfortable hinged closure and fits most wrists. It has a clever design that allows for it to delicately drip down the hand of the wearer so it's very impactful and bling-y. High quality crystals reflect a rainbow of light on a sunny day.

Most amazingly, however, is the fact that the bracelet had a close-up cameo in the 2014 Iris documentary by filmmaker Albert Maysles. See photo #11 and video #12.

Our Iris Apfel Vintage Documented Monumental Alligator Bangle is very special because it's a rare, hard-to-find piece designed by Iris for her own jewelry line, Rara Avis. She must have loved this one since she kept it in her personal collection. It has some signs of wear, like scratching on the back of the bracelet (not visible when worn, however).

This hard-to-find gem was produced on a very limited scale and is near impossible to find today. The only other place we've seen this bracelet is when the iconic Bergdorf's SVP fashion director Linda Fargo (and a close friend and collaborator of Iris, seen heavily in the 2014 documentary) wore it to a n 2014 Fausto Puglisi party, as documented by Vogue. Please see photo #14 for reference.

Due to their authentic provenance and delicate nature, items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable. Each piece will arrive with a provenance card.
