Iris Apfel's Documented Vintage One-of-a-Kind Patchwork Mexican Gown

From Iris Apfel's personal collection: Our most documented piece of clothing from her wardrobe currently on offer: a  Vintage One-of-a-Kind Patchwork Mexican Gown. This double-sided wonder displays different figures on each side, all patchworked together from various pieces of fabric. This is a handmade piece with no label, and we've never seen anything else like it. True, wearable art.

Due to their authentic provenance and the delicate secondhand nature, items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable. Each piece will arrive with a provenance card.

SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Freeform forgiving size, can accommodate a range of small or large. Full measurements below, all in US inches. All measurements are taken with garment lying flat (please double where needed) and are approximate.

ERA: Estimated 1950s - early 1970s.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. This is a piece that Iris truly wore, meaning there are visible spots like dirt and lipstick throughout (see photos). We have not attempted to clean it, but a professional could likely remedy if needed. We prefer to think that these signs of wear add significant character.
