What is Make an Offer?

From Iris Apfel's personal collection: A romantic and mysterious diamond ring fit for a queen. Iris Apfel's Antique Gold Diamond Teardrop Ring is covered in shimmering rose cut diamonds (likely foiled back, common and desirable during the ~Georgian and Victorian era) on a teardrop shaped ring. The simple band has two small beads on it which flank the center design. A perfect, everyday wearable piece of history.

Antique ring finds of a lifetime, from the jewelry collection of Iris Apfel: Renowned maximalist icon Iris Apfel traveled the world to find her best-of-the-best antique and vintage finds. Her special affinity for jewelry was unrivaled. Preserved in her personal collection were a highly unique selection of Georgian, Victorian and earlier antique diamond and gemstone rings, many of which were converted from incredibly rare brooches, earrings and other pieces. What's most amazing about these pieces--antique jewelry collectors know, often times, 100+ year old rings can be small or dainty. Not these! Many are oversized and take up ample finger space. Constructed of historically significant materials, they come with serious personality. This is living, rare, fashion history. Each ring is simply irreplaceable, a totally one-of-a-kind heirloom to enjoy for decades to come.

Wear with care: we are of the mindset that antique jewelry should see the world. Mix it with your modern jewels and your everyday necklaces. Just be mindful. Protect it from water and liquids, exercise, harsh outdoor activities and beauty products, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

Due to their authentic provenance and delicate nature, items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable. Each piece will arrive with a provenance card.
