What a rare and beautiful find! This huge, Antique Victorian 14K Solid Gold Massive 60ct Amethyst Brooch is truly one-of-a-kind.

Rendered in bloomed 14K yellow gold, this brooch has exceptional cannetille work on its edges, so associated with the Victorian era. The stunning center features the most beautiful, light, watery Rose de France amethyst weighing in at 60.00 carats, with an oval modified brilliant cut. The back has a traditional C clasp backing and a small bail that can be used to style this piece as a pendant. Nice heavy weight at 19.5 grams, it measures roughly 1.5 inch wide by 1.25 inch long.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light visible wear throughout. Beautifully preserved patina throughout, commensurate with age. Could be shined up but left for collector's preference. The pin on the back is slightly bent from use and age, but this does not impact the function.
