From Iris Apfel's personal collection: A Vintage Monies Bone Agate Stacked Chunky Necklace by Gerda Lynggaard. This unique, high-quality vintage necklace is made of chunky custom made bone beads that are drilled to lay at all different angles, creating a multi-layered look.

This necklace was included in a boxed lot of Iris's pieces including broken necklaces and beads that we purchased from Iris Apfel's estate. We brought this broken piece from her collection back to life by re-stringing it in a way we think best honors Iris's style.

Monies is a brand that Iris Apfel often wore.

Gerda Lynggaard (who now goes by Gerda Monies) and her husband Nikolai founded Monies in 1973 in Copenhagen. The label is known for creating huge, over-the-top, maximalist creations using semi-precious stones and materials.

Items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light visible scratching throughout.

MEASUREMENTS: Roughly 20 inches long including clasp.
