Iris Apfel's Vintage Martha Medeiros Ice Blue Lace Crystal Jacket

From Iris Apfel's personal collection: A beautiful Vintage Martha Medeiros Ice Blue Lace Crystal Jacket. This jacket has an open silhouette with no closures and is constructed out of thick lace of the palest baby blue shade, covered in crystals. 

Martha Medeiros was a Brazilian brand sold at Bergdorf Goodman in the US, most well-known for its lace made from her native region of Sertão in Northeast Brazil. All of her lace is still handmade by the women in the area where she grew up.

Due to their authentic provenance and the delicate secondhand nature, items from the personal collection of Iris Apfel are final sale and non-returnable. Each piece will arrive with a provenance card.

ERA: Mid 2010s.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light tears and distressing; not highly visible when worn. There is some light staining on this jacket (visible in photos and reflected in price) - we have not attempted to clean it but believe a professional could easily restore it if needed. We prefer to think these signs of wear add character.
