Her special affinity for jewelry was unrivaled. Preserved in her personal collection were a highly unique selection of Georgian, Victorian and earlier antique diamond and gemstone rings, many of which were converted from incredibly rare brooches, earrings and other pieces. What's most amazing about these pieces--antique jewelry collectors know, often times, 100+ year old rings can be small or dainty. Not these! Many are oversized and take up ample finger space. Constructed of historically significant materials, they come with serious personality. This is living, rare, fashion history. SIZE: Measures 7 US on mandrel, fits 6.75 US best due to width. Resizeable by most professional jewelers.

MATERIALS: Diamonds, tiger's eye, 14K gold band and 12K gold wings/settings (XRF/electronically tested and hallmarked "18").

ERA: Bug estimated Victorian - Edwardian (1837 - 1910). Later conversion.

CONDITION: In good secondhand condition, with some normal wear and tear that comes with age. Light visible scratching throughout. Beautiful patina that only comes with age. One wing is missing three small diamonds which are mostly only visible with a loupe. Visible solder marks on back of the bug.
