Monet is one of the most popular and collectible vintage costume jewelry brands. It is well known for its beautiful vintage gold tone and quality, triple plating. Monet was founded by brothers Michael and Jay Chernow in 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island and continued into the 1990s. In the '90s, Monet collaborated with some of the top fashion houses in the world, including Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, and Christian Lacroix.
